At Manta Dive Gili Trawangan we combine diving with marine conservation. Whether you have one day or several weeks, our eco courses teach you how coral reefs work and how to help protect them - from identifying marine life to restoring corals and collecting real data for global reef databases.
Each course can be booked on its own or combined into one of our Marine Conservation Programs.

Learn to identify fish, invertebrates and reef substrates, then carry out real reef health surveys that are uploaded to the global Reef Check database. A globally recognized certification for citizen scientists.
1 Day each | 15+ | IDR 1.950.000 per specialty
Five 1-day specialties - Sea Turtle Ecology, Shark Ecology, Fish ID, Coral ID and Marine Ecology - each with a lecture and a dive. Book one or all five; complete all five and pay for four.

Give broken coral fragments a second chance. Learn the sustainable Ocean Quest method in our beach lab, then plant corals on the Manta coral nurseries.
