Age: 15+, Certification level: Open Water
You need to be 15 years old and hold an Open Water certification or equivalent.

What’s included in the Ocean Quest Coral Propagation course?

Your Coral Propagation course at Manta Dive includes:

Theory sessions and 2–3 training dives.
Full scuba equipment during training, including a mask, fins, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, weights and tank.
Course materials, gloves and equipment for your beach lab sessions.
Ocean Quest Coral Propagation certification on successful completion of the course.

You’ll combine learning about coral reefs with practical coral propagation training, both in the beach lab and underwater.

How much does the Coral Propagation course on Gili Trawangan cost?

Our Ocean Quest Coral Propagation course costs IDR 4,500,000. This includes your training, equipment, course materials and certification, as outlined above.

A one-time Marine Park Fee of IDR 100,000 is payable separately in cash on arrival.

What can I do with an Ocean Quest Coral Propagation certification?

During the course, you’ll build your knowledge of coral reefs and gain practical experience in coral propagation. These skills provide a foundation for further marine conservation training and can help you explore opportunities to support coral restoration, including Ocean Quest projects around the world.
