Described by divers as one of the most challenging yet rewarding course, the Diver Stress and Rescue Certification will build on your confidence as a recreational diver and have you prepared for any emergency scenario.
During the 3-day course, you will complete your Emergency First Aid Certification if you do not have it already. Once that’s done, you’ll spend time in both the pool and open water learning and mastering different emergency situations and how to react in each one.
You’ll become an expert at preventing and managing problems in the water and knowing how to help others if needed.
Course Topics include:
First aid for diving injuries
Use of emergency equipment
Missing and unconscious diver rescue
Accident recording and reporting
And much more
Students younger than 15 years old will be certified as an SSI Junior stress and rescue diver.
