Described by divers as one of the most challenging yet rewarding course, the Diver Stress and Rescue Certification will build on your confidence as a recreational diver and have you prepared for any emergency scenario.
During the 3-day course, you will complete your Emergency First Aid Certification if you do not have it already. Once that’s done, you’ll spend time in both the pool and open water learning and mastering different emergency situations and how to react in each one.
You’ll become an expert at preventing and managing problems in the water and knowing how to help others if needed.

Use of emergency equipment
Distress recognition
Panic scenarios
Self-rescue
Missing and unconscious diver rescue
Accident recording and reporting

Students younger than 15 years old will be certified as an SSI Junior stress and rescue diver.
