Domestic Flights to Lombok

There are now a few airlines operating daily flights from Bali to Lombok. These are Lion Air, Wings & Garuda. Availability is rarely a problem unless it's the weekend or high season, but we wouldn't recommend just showing up at the airport without a ticket. Check-in is an hour before the flight. Flight time 25 minutes, and cost about $20-30 one way.

From Jakarta there are many flights and Airlines to choose from. These are CitiLink, Lion Air, Batik & Garuda. If you are travelling from Komodo or Rinca the nearest airport is at Labuanbajo, Flores. All flights to Lombok from Flores go via Bali. Check on Skyscanner for latest rates, schedules and to make a booking.

From the Lombok airport it takes about 2 hours to get to Gili Trawangan. We can arrange airport transfers from Lombok Airport to Gili Trawangan.

International Flights to Lombok

Singapore airlines offer a service direct to Lombok with their sister company Silk Air, but this service is limited. Lion Air also do cheap flights to Denpasar, Bali direct from Singapore.

Air Asia are now flying from Kuala Lumpur to Lombok twice a day.  Departure from KL is at 08:35 & 15:35, arrival in Lombok is at 11:45 & 18:45.  Departure from Lombok is at 12:15 & 19:15, arrival in KL is at 15:25 & 22:35. These low cost flights can be booked online directly on the Air Asia website.

Jetstar has serviced Lombok International Airport (although it currently is not) but it is rumoured that both Jetstar and Emirates will soon start operating direct flights to Lombok.

From Europe the best value airlines are KLM, Malaysia, Singapore, Qatar & Emirates.  All use slightly different routes and arrive in Bali.

Most international flights arrive in Denpasar, Bali and from there it is very easy to get to the Gilis.  If you arrive in Bali in the late afternoon or evening you will not be able to get to the Gilis the same day. In this case we recommend taking a fast boat to Gili Trawangan the following monring. We recommend taking the Blue Water Express or Gili Getaway fast boats as they generally run on time, are a comfortable and safe journey, with very little messing around. You simply get on the boat in Bali and get off it in Gili Trawangan.
