Refresher Dive FAQ
What is the duration of the Refresher Dive Course on Gili Trawangan?
The refresher course takes half a day and involves a session in the swimming pool with one of our Scuba diving instructors or Divemasters, during which you can re-familiarise yourself with the dive equipment and refresh your scuba diving skills, followed by a fun dive in the afternoon to one of the dive sites around the Gili Islands put it all into practice.
What is the cost of the Refresher Dive Course on Gili Trawangan?
The cost of a Refresher dive course is Rp 950,000, which includes all equipment, instruction and the afternoon fun dive. There is also a marine park fee which is a one-time payment of Rp150,000. This includes your Rp100,000 obligatory entrance fee and a Rp50,000 donation to the Gili Eco Trust. If you book in advance we can offer you a 10% discount off the above course price.
What is the prerequisite for the Refresher Dive Course on Gili Trawangan?
This course is for those who already hold a Scuba diving certification, for example the Open Water Diver Certification. If you are not an experienced diver and it has been longer than 1 year since you last dived, we insist that you take this Refresher Course.
Is there a minimum age requirement for the Refresher Dive Course on Gili Trawangan?
The minimum age to hold a scuba diving certification is 10 years, so this course is suitable for ages 10 and above. However the maximum depth for 10-11 year olds is 6 meters for this course.
