Leaving from Serangan harbour on the south coast of Bali and taking about 2 1/2 hours to get from Bali to Gili Trawangan. This is one of the fastest boats and it goes directly to Gili Trawangan.

There are now a few airlines operating daily flights from Bali to Lombok. These are Lion Air, Wings & Garuda. Availability is rarely a problem unless it's the weekend or high season and the flight is usually very affordable when booked in advance.
There are now a few international flights going in Lombok from international hubs such as Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. One short taxi ride and boat ride and you'll be on Gili T.

This daily service from Kuta Bali passes through numerous pick-up points on the way to Padang Bai, this is very much the economy hardcore traveller's route and essentially lasts for a day.
Departure at 6:30 from Kuta to Padang Bai. 10:00 public ferry to Lembar Lombok arriving around 15:00, then transfer to a minibus for the 90 minute journey to Bangsal harbour, and finally a 45 minute boat ride to Gili Trawangan, arriving around sunset.
