Traditional Lumbung Bungalows
Working on the basis that ‘a night under the stars’ is just about as romantic as you can get, we have designed and built eight incredibly classy 'Traditional Lumbung Bungalows' rooms at our beach front location at Manta Dive Gili Trawangan Resort.

Hotels Gili Trawangan
The accommodation is based on a traditional rice barn (Lumbung), with a high roof and generous balcony where you can enjoy the sunset.
The natural building materials used are finished to western standards and have hotel facilities with A/C, mini-bar, safety deposit box, TV, DVD. The contemporary Asian fusion is completed by the outdoor bathroom.
Although we were primarily a dive school we pride ourselves on being the first to build these type of hotel rooms on Gili Trawangan.
Our rooms represent not only great value for excellent lodgings but also possibly the shortest stagger from bed to dive boat conceivable. It’s just a short commute of about 60 meters from crisp white bed linen to clear blue water via the inclusive breakfast.
Of course, it’s not entirely mandatory to go diving if you stay with us, though we might look at you funny if you don’t. We can therefore suggest and arrange all sorts of other activities such as free diving, yoga, golf, horse riding, snorkelling and tennis.
We also provide for many inactivities such as our on-site masseur, relaxing in our hammocks, by the pool or chilling in one of our berugaks, while sampling a delicious baguette from our cafe.
Hotels Gili Air
Since opening Manta Dive on Gili Air in 2008, we have replicated the highly sought after traditional bungalows at our beach front location on Gili Air. These rooms have proven to be one of the most popular hotels on Gili Air.
Room facilities are limited to AC, hot water, and a safety deposit box, but the layout and design are identical to the bungalows on Gili Trawangan. Two of the rooms even have an ocean view!
Gili Air is much quieter than Gili Trawangan which appeals to some more than others, as with a quieter island comes less variety of accommodation, restaurants and other general facilities. Gili Air however has been referred to as Gili Trawangan 10 years ago so its definitely worth making a trip to both islands.
