Gili Islands

There are 17 sites that we visit around the Gili islands, most are suited to all levels of diver but a few require an Advanced certification or higher. Majority of the dives are drift dives from the boat. March to October is the most reliable weather where you may encounter rain in the other months. The diving on Gili T is rarely affected and is beautiful year-round. Temperatures range from 26-29 degrees celsius.

Suitable for all levels
This dive site is located on the west coast of neighboring Gili Meno. This is an old pier that sank back in 1999 and has become the perfect home for new reef and marine life. It lies at about 18 meters below the surface and rises up to 8 meters which makes it perfect for divers of all levels.
Manta Dive Gili T
Your Base
The base for everything. Just steps away from the beach where the dive boat waits to take you some amazing underwater adventures.
Air Wall
Suitable for all levels
A bit further away close to neighboring Gili Air, Air Wall is a great Macro dive site filled with colorful sea life on a steep wall extending from 10 meters down to around 25. You'll find many vibrantly colored nudibranchs, pygmy seahorse, crabs, octopus, and more.
Seahorse Bay
Suitable for all levels
This stunning dive site is located just off West Lombok and features shallow coral gardens and have unique species not found elsewhere in other dive sites. You'll find rare macro life with great visibility year-round.
Air Harbour
Suitable for all levels
Located on the southern tip of Gili Air, the harbor is a great place for muck diving and exploration. You'll see schools of sweet lips, hawks-bill turtle, octopus, pipe fish and more.
Hanns Reef
Suitable for all levels
Perfect for beginner and seasoned divers. A gentle sandy slow runs paralel to the shore line over a large coral mound and outcroppings.
Mirkos/Secret Reef
Suitable for all levels
Rising out of the blue is a stunning reef structure between Gili Air and Gili Meno. Home to some of the most stunning coral gardens. The shallow part is home to puffer fish, trumpet fish and the beautiful long-nosed butterfly fish.
Turtle Point
Suitable for all levels
Also sometimes called Turtle Heaven, the name says it all. You'll find many cleaning stations on this beautiful pinnacle filled with hawks-bill and green turtles. Macro-lovers will enjoy the many small nudibranchs that also hide among the vibrant coral.
Meno Wall
Suitable for all levels
Just off the west of Gili Meno and home to a plethora of crustaceans and a great spot for night diving. Spanish dancers, crabs ranging from small coral crabs up to the huge sponge crab, lobsters, shrimps, sleeping turtles, baby cuttlefish and scorpion fish are amongst the many creatures that can be seen.
Simons reef
Advanced +
A gently sloping reef on the south side of Gili Trawangan with a good variety of hard and soft corals, interspersed with bommies and large table corals which shelter the fish. There is rarely any current here, an excellent site to get close up with reef sharks, sting rays, cuttlefish, octopus and in season a passing manta!!
Biorocks
Suitable for all levels
Biorock is a project started back in 2006 to help regenerate and populate damaged reef and help protect the beaches and shoreline from coastal erosion. Beautiful reef now covers this artificial structure going down to about 18 meters with most of the dense coral in the shallows.
Goodheart
Suitable for all levels
This dive site sits on the North East side of Gili T and follows a sandy slope from the shore and down in a beautiful variety of coral gardens. You'll find sponges, soft corals, anemonefish, angelfish, green and hawksbill turtles.
Manta Point
Suitable for all levels
An amazing collection of staghorn coral garden gently sloping in shallow waters just off the southern side of Gili T. You don't have to go deep to find reef sharks, turtles, sweetlips and bat fish.
Halik
Suitable for all levels
Option to do either shallow or deep version of this stunning dive site. The reef runs parallel along the shoreline and is host to clownfish, butterfly fish, trigger fish and more. A great site for Try Scuba course or Open Water Course.
Shallow Turbo
Suitable for all levels
An excellent dive site for beginners or advanced divers who really want to explore. A beautiful drift dive along a reef teeming with stunning coral formations that drop down to about 25 meters down. You don't need to go deeper than 10 to see some amazing turtles, schools of fish, unicorn fish, scorpion fish and plenty of trumpet fish.
Shark Point
Suitable for all levels
Shark Point is located on the north-west side of the island and is one of the most popular dive sites. The site starts with a sloping reef with deep ridges that go down to over 50 meters. You'll see huge schools of jack fish, reef sharks, batfish, turtles, and more.
Deep Turbo
Advanced Divers
Drop into the blue and ascend into pristine pinnacles rising from the sandy ocean bottom. Just north of Gili T, Deep Turbo is a very popular dive site among advanced divers for the exciting conditions and potential to see some amazing life including spotted eagle rays and reef sharks.
Takat Malang
Advanced Divers
A deep dive site with an average depth of 25 meters but dropping to around 40 meters, you'll find a beautiful collection of large coral heads also known as Takats. An excellent diversity of corals and reef fish can be found here including sea food and amazing topography.
